Sakura Japan

Sakura (cherry blossom) is one of the most popular flowers among Japanese. The flower is usually in full bloom mainly at the beginning of April, when new school year and fiscal year start in Japan. Because of this, it is often regarded as the symbol of new departures of our lives.

Japanese people love this flower so much that there are many hit songs named "Sakura" in this country. Also, sakura is inscribed on a 100 yen coin. It must be difficult for you to find any Japanese who dislikes sakura. If you ask a Japanese, "Do you like sakura?", the answer will be almost 100% "Yes."
