Geisha Japan

A geisha (also called geiko or geigi) is a woman who demonstrates Japanese traditional dances or plays musical instruments to entertain customers at a ryotei (old-established, very expensive restaurant).

The word "gei" in "geisha" is "great skills" and "sha" is "person", respectively. So, "geisha" literally means "person who has great skills". After they first train as maikos (refer to #200), they become full-fledged geishas.
