Enoshima

The Japanese word "E" in "E-no-shima" is an inlet in English, "no" is "of", and "shima" is "island", respectively. As its name indicates, Enoshima is an island in an inlet near Yuigahama (refer to #287) in Kamakura (refer to #285).

It has an observation tower and the third oldest botanical garden in this country on the top of the island. Enoshima Shrine is on the hillside. This island is popular enough to attract lots of tourists.
