Oga Peninsula

Oga Peninsula (or Oga Hanto in Japanese) is located at the west end of Akita Prefecture (refer to #146). Also, it is one of the famous tied islands (or tombolos) in Japan as well as Enoshima (refer to #288) and Mount Hakodate (refer to #290).

It has a village named Oga Onsenkyo, which is famous for a lot of great hot springs in the area. The Japanese word "onsen" is "hot spring" in English, and "kyo" is "village", respectively.
