Shio Taio

The Japanese word "shio" in "shio taio" means "salt" in English and "taio" is "reaction", respectively. Salt implies feelings that are similar to a sharp pain and this slang usually indicates "someone's unkind reaction to another".

In many cases, the expression is used for impolite females, especially for idol singers who don't welcome their fans even in their own events for appreciating the fans. But someone's shio taio is sometimes regarded as her unique characteristic.
