Kimono Japan

Kimono is Japanese national costume. Ancient Japanese all wore kimono by the Meiji Restoration in 1868, but modern people hardly wear it except some special occasions such as a wedding and a coming-of-age celebration.

While some elaborately-made artistic kimono often cost more than tens of millions yen, very cheap ones made from polyester are also widely sold in these days especially for young Japanese.
