Tsukuba Express

The Tsukuba Express is a railway line, which connects Akihabara (refer to #330) in Tokyo (refer to #036) and Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture (refer to #382). It takes 45 minutes from Akihabara to Tsukuba by the train.

It was opened in 2005, the latest railway line in the Kanto region (refer to #137). This railway line runs on an elevated bridge or underground. So, there is no crossing on the line, which is a notable characteristic.
