#941: Ueno Royal Museum (category: museum)
The Ueno Royal Museum is located in Ueno Park (refer to #367) in Taito Ward, Tokyo. It was opened in 1972 by the Fujisankei Communications Group.
The museum does not have a permanent collection and is dedicated solely to special exhibitions. An annex was added in 2006.
