Eco Car Japan

In Japan, zero-emission vehicles are generally called Eco Cars. Originally, the word "eco-" is a prefix relating to an environment, and it is derived from the word "ecology". But Japanese people in general use it as a noun or an adjective in many cases. For example, Eco Bag (refer to #158).

Eco Cars have been getting increasingly popular in recent years because they are subject to tax reductions or government subsidizes when they are approved as appropriate zero-emission vehicles.
