Tokyo Dome is the home stadium of the Yomiuri Giants, the oldest and the most popular baseball team in Japan. As the venue can accommodate about 50,000 people, it is used for various purposes such as sports events, music concerts, and diverse entertainment shows.

It was completed in 1988 as the first domed stadium in this country. It is located in central Tokyo and often called "The Big Egg" or "Tokyo Big Egg" because of its appearance.
