#494: Lake Tazawa (category: lake)
Lake Tazawa is the deepest and the 19th largest lake in Japan. The lake is located in Akita Prefecture and is selected as one of the 100 Landscapes of Japan.
Also, the lake belongs to Tazawako-Dakigaeri Prefectural Natural Park. Dakigaeri is a ravine along Tama River, running to the south of Lake Tazawa.
