Nihonbashi

Nihonbashi (literally meaning "bridge of Japan") is a central area of current Tokyo. Also, it is the name of a bridge over the Nihonbashi River, which is flowing from the Kanda River to the Sumida River.

Nihonbashi was well known as the starting point of all the Edo Five Routes, the five major roads of Japan during the Edo period (between the 17th and 19th centuries).
