Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery

The Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery exhibits paintings depicting the life of Emperor Meiji. It is located in the outer garden (or Gaien) of Meiji Shrine in Shinjuku Ward, Tokyo.

The building of this museum was planned after the death of Emperor Meiji in 1912 and was completed in 1926. In 2011, the museum was designated a National Important Cultural Property.
