#937: Sompo Museum of Art (category: museum)
The Sompo Museum of Art was opened in 1976 by Yasuda Fire and Marine Insurance Company (current Sompo Japan Insurance Inc.) to exhibit the works of the late Seiji Togo, a renowned Japanese Western-style painter.
Initially located on the 42nd floor of the current Sompo Japan Head Office Building, the museum was relocated to a newly constructed annex and reopened in July 2020.
