Kasetsu Jutaku (Temporary Housing) Japan

Kasetsu Jutaku are prefabricated buildings for temporary use, especially after a disaster like a great earthquake. The Japanese word "kasetsu" is "temporary" in English and "jutaku" is "residence", respectively.

After the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami (refer to #099), tens of thousands of Kasetsu Jutaku were built for refugees. As of 2015, tens of thousands of people still live in Kasetsu Jutaku. Tohoku Restoration (refer to #136) is still underway.
