Kitano Ijinkan Dori

Kitano Ijinkan Dori is a nickname of Kitano-cho Yamamoto Dori, along which Groups of Traditional Buildings are standing. It is located near Shin-Kobe Station (refer to #508).

The word "ijin" is "foreigner" in English and "kan" is "house", respectively. So, "Ijinkan" literally means "foreigner's house". In this case, the foreigners especially indicate Western people.
