Twenty-Six Martyrs Museum and Monument

The Twenty-Six Martyrs Museum and Monument are located in Nagasaki City (refer to #126). They were built in 1962 to commemorate the 100th year of canonizing the 26 Martyrs of Japan.

Nishizaka Park, next to the museum, has a stone monument of the life of Luis Frois, a Portuguese missionary in the 16th century, who recorded the martyrs of the 26 people in Nagasaki.
