#718: Minenobu (category: artist)
Minenobu Kano was a Japanese painter in the 17th and the 18th centuries, who was the second son of Tsunenobu Kano (refer to #716) and a younger brother of Chikanobu Kano (refer to #717).
He was hired as the exclusively official painter by the Tokugawa shogunate government and originated the Hamacho-Kano school, one of the branches of the original Kano school.
