#728: Ritsugaku (category: artist)
Ritsugaku Kimura was a Japanese painter in the 19th century, who was one of the painters influenced by the Kano school, a prestigious faction of nihon-ga (Japanese-style paintings).
Ritsugaku, along with Hougai Kano (refer to #724), Gaho Hashimoto (refer to #727), etc., was one of the leading apprentices of Tadanobu Kano (refer to #723).
