#777: Miyazaki Prefectural Art Museum (category: museum)
The Miyazaki Prefectural Art Museum is located in Miyazaki Prefecture General Culture Park, in Miyazaki City. The park was developed at the site, where the University of Miyazaki's Faculty of Agriculture used to be located.
In 1988, the current version of the Miyazaki Prefectural Library was completed in the park. In 1993, Miyazaki Prefectural Art Theater was finished in front of the library. Then, in 1995, the art museum opened next to them.
