#875: Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art (category: museum)
The Asahi Beer Oyamazaki Villa Museum of Art stands on the side of Mount Tenno at the border between Osaka and Kyoto Prefectures, overlooking a beautiful landscape where several rivers meet.
It was originally a mountain villa that was designed by Shotaro Kaga, an entrepreneur, and was completed in 1932. After several ownership changes, it opened in 1996 as an art museum run by Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd.
