The Sunritz Hattori Museum of Arts is located on the shore of Lake Suwa in Suwa City, Nagano Prefecture. The Kitazawa Museum of Art is adjacent to the facility just to the north.
The museum opened in 1995 to exhibit the art collections of the late Ichiro Hattori, president of Seiko Epson Corporation, and his affiliated company, Sanritsu Industries, Ltd.
