#900: Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art (category: museum)
The Shizuoka Prefectural Museum of Art is located at the foot of Nihondaira, a hilly area in Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture. It opened in April 1986.
The museum houses many works by artists associated with Shizuoka Prefecture and paintings depicting Mount Fuji (refer to #095). The tallest mountain in this country can be viewed clearly from the top of the hill.
