The Chiba Prefectural Museum of Art is located in Chiba Port Park in Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture. It opened in October 1974.
The building was designed by the late Masato Otaka, a renowned architect. After the renovation involving aseismic reinforcement work, it reopened in January 2015.
