#956: Tokyo Metropolitan Art Tokyo (category: museum)
The Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum is located in Ueno Park (refer to #367) in Taito Ward, Tokyo. It opened in 1926.
Due to the aging of the building, it underwent a large-scale renovation over two years, beginning in 2010, and the entire building was reopened in 2012.
