Nagoya is the capital of Aichi Prefecture and has the third largest population in Japan after Tokyo (refer to #036) and Osaka (refer to #037). Located in central Japan, this city has been a significant area from ancient times.

Nagoya Castle, located at the center of Nagoya City (near Nagoya Station), is often regarded as one of this city's landmarks. This ancient castle is very famous for its splendid Golden Shachihoko (Shachihoko is an imaginary animal, which has a tiger head and a fish body).
