#242: Loose Socks (category: socks)
Loose socks are so-called boot socks to wear under the boots. But in Japan, many high school girl students have come to wear them as fashion since early 1990s. Japanese people usually pronounce this word "lu-zu" socks, not "lu-su".
In recent years, the number of young girls who like to wear loose socks in other countries has been increasing because they love and want to imitate Japanese animation characters who are wearing them.
