#483: Lake Biwa (category: lake)
Lake Biwa (or Biwa-ko in Japanese) is a lake in Shiga Prefecture, located to the east of Kyoto (refer to #035). It is the largest fresh-water lake in this country.
The river running from this lake is called Seta River in Shiga, Uji River (refer to #482) in Kyoto, and Yodo River in Osaka (refer to #037), respectively.
