#516: Inaniwa Udon (category: udon)
Inaniwa Udon is a very famous and very popular type of udon (wheat flour noodle) produced in Akita Prefecture. Inaniwa is the place name where the noodle is said to originate from.
Inaniwa Udon is often regarded as one of three major types of udon in Japan, along with Sanuki Udon (refer to #304) in Kagawa Prefecture and Goto Udon (refer to #515) in Nagasaki Prefecture.
