#535: Cape Todo (category: cape)
Cape Todo (or Todo-ga-saki in Japanese) is the easternmost point of Honshu Island (refer to #062). Located in Iwate Prefecture, the cape belongs to Sanriku Fukko National Park.
"Sanriku" is an ancient name of the northeastern area of the Tohoku region (refer to #136) and literally means "three lands". Also, the word "fukko" can be paraphrased as "reconstruction" in English.
