Harunobu

Harunobu Suzuki was one of the most important ukiyo-e artists in the middle of Edo period. Especially, he contributed to the birth of nishiki-e (multi-colored woodblock painting).

Harunobu was good at drawing bijin-ga (pictures of beautiful women) and he ruled the age with his nishiki-e. He influenced many artists in his days and later eras.
