Motonobu

Motonobu Kano was a Japanese painter in the 15th and 16th centuries and a son of Masanobu Kano (refer to #705), the originator of the prestigious Kano school of nihon-ga (Japanese-style paintings).

Motonobu inherited the drawing styles of his father's and became the second head of the school. He established the position of the Kano school in the Japanese art history.
