#731: Shunso (category: artist)
Shunso Hishida was a Japanese painter in the 19th and the 20th centuries. He entered Tokyo Fine Arts School, the forerunner of current Tokyo University of the Arts, in 1890 as one of the second generation students.
Also, Shunso was regarded as one of the four greatest apprentices of Gaho Hashimoto (refer to #727), along with Kanzan Shimomura (refer to #729), Taikan Yokoyama (refer to #730), and Kogetsu Saigo.
