#733: Gyokusho (category: artist)
Gyokusho Kawabata was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. He worked as a professor at Tokyo Fine Arts School, the forerunner of the current Tokyo University of the Arts.
He was known for his high skill to draw pictures and mainly taught students how to draw sketches at the school for about two decades. Gaho Hashimoto (refer to #727) was one of his colleagues.
