Bunkyo Nomura was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. He was born as a son of a dealer of kimono fabrics in the central area of Kyoto (refer to #035).
Bunkyo studied drawing pictures under some of the renowned painters. He often received prizes for his works and played an active role in Japanese art during the Meiji era.
