#762: Shinsui (category: artist)
Shinsui Ito was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. He was a disciple of Kiyokata Kaburaki (refer to #756), who gave him the pseudonym "Shinsui".
Shinsui was good at drawing bijin-ga (paintings of beautiful women) as his master was. His daughter was Yukiji Asaoka, a celebrated singer and actress in Japan.
