#871: Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts (category: museum)
The Osaka City Museum of Fine Arts is located at Tennoji Park in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City (refer to #037). It opened in 1936.
The building was originally built as a residence for the Sumitomo family, a zaibatsu (or an industrial conglomerate). It was later donated to Osaka City to become an art museum.
