The Kuboso Memorial Museum of Arts, Izumi, opened in October 1982 when the third president of Kuboso Corporation donated his art collection to Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture (refer to #037 for Osaka City, which is in Osaka Prefecture).

In 1997, the company's fifth president donated a new wing of the museum. Since then, several parties have donated buildings, and the museum now occupies an area of about 1.5 acres.
