The Tenshin Memorial Museum of Art, Ibaraki, is located on the Izura Coast in Kitaibaraki City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The coast is a scenic spot belonging to the Hanazono-Hananuki Prefectural Natural Park.
The museum was established in 1997 to commemorate the achievements of Tenshin Okakura (refer to #734), who moved Nihon Bijutsuin (meaning Japan Visual Art Academy) to this area in 1906.
