#964: Saga (category: prefecture)
Saga Prefecture is located in the northwestern part of Kyushu Island (refer to #063). It is sandwiched between the Genkai Sea and the Ariake Sea.
It is the smallest prefecture in Kyushu in terms of area but has Japan's 16th largest population density. It is famous for its Japanese ceramic ware, such as Karatsu ware, Imari ware, and Arita ware.
