#977: Toyama (category: prefecture)
Toyama Prefecture is located at the northern end of the Chubu region (refer to #138), sandwiched between Niigata (refer to #976) and Ishikawa Prefectures.
The name "Toyama" literally means "mountainous," and the prefecture is indeed surrounded by mountains.
