#594: Aokata Church (category: church)
Aokata Church is one of the many Catholic churches in Nakadohri Island, belonging to Goto Islands (refer to #514). It is located to the west of Aokata Dam.
After the significant increase in Christian population in 1960s and 1970s, the first version of the church in the Aokata area was complete in 1974 and it was remodeled in 2000.
