Shozan Iwai was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. He was a disciple of Fuko Matsumoto (refer to #738) and belonged to several art groups.
In recent years, an art magazine and a newspaper featured Shozan as a legendary painter, and allowed him to become more widely acknowledged than ever before.
