Tottori Prefecture is located in the western part of Honshu Island (refer to #062). It belongs to the Chugoku Region (refer to #140).
Tottori is the least populated prefecture in Japan but is widely known for its Tottori Sand Dunes (refer to #531), the largest sand dunes in this country.
