#698: Kunichika (category: artist)
Kunichika Toyohara is often regarded as one of the three greatest ukiyo-e artists during the Meiji era, along with Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (refer to #692) and Kiyochika Kobayashi (refer to #697).
Kunichika was an apprentice of an artist named Chikanobu Toyohara and of Kunisada Utagawa the First, who was also known as Toyokuni Utagawa the Third (refer to #690).
