#747: Seiju (category: artist)
Seiju Omoda was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. He was born and grew up in Saitama Prefecture, and the house he boarded at in Tokyo was next to that of Fuko Matsumoto (refer to #738).
By chance, Seiju Omoda and Gyoshu Hayami (refer to #742) became disciples of Fuko on the same day. In later years, they were regarded as lifelong rivals.
