Kogyo Tsukioka was a Japanese painter in the 19th and 20th centuries. His mother remarried to Yoshitoshi Tsukioka (refer to #692), one of the essential ukiyo-e artists in the late Edo and Meiji periods.
Kogyo became a disciple of his stepfather Yoshitoshi. Also, he later studied drawing under two other famous painters: Gekko Ogata (refer to #737) and Fuko Matsumoto (refer to #738).
