#992: Shizuoka (category: prefecture)
Shizuoka Prefecture is located in the southeast corner of the Chubu region (refer to #138). The Shinkansen bullet train (refer to #119) runs along Suruga Bay south of the prefecture.
Mount Fuji (refer to #095), the highest mountain in Japan, straddles this prefecture and the neighboring Yamanashi Prefecture to the north.
