He was born in 1980. Having started his career as a newspaper journalist, he worked for an editorial office and an event planning company. Currently, he serves as the president of KIQTAS, his own company.

Free podcast program "The Book Changing Your Life (later renamed Kikumaga) ", which Hayakawa started in 2008, was downloaded more than 200,000 times a month and got the first place in iTunes Store Podcast, and it made him famous among Japanese. After that, he has been interviewing with Japanese in various fields and the number of his interviewee well over 1,000.
