Hiroshima is one of Seven Major Cities in Japan, along with Tokyo (refer to #036), Osaka (refer to #037), Nagoya (refer to #058), Sapporo (refer to #060), Sendai (in Miyagi Prefecture), and Fukuoka (in Fukuoka Prefecture). The name of Hiroshima (City and Prefecture) is known worldwide for Hiroshima Peace Memorial (refer to #075) and Itsuku-shima Shrine (refer to #074).

Hiroshima is the largest city at the west side of Honshu (refer to #062). Onomichi City (in Hiroshima Prefecture) in Honshu and Imabari City (in Ehime Prefecture) in Shikoku (refer to #064) are connected by some gigantic suspension bridges.
